''Hello. I'm going to quickly show you how to order a plan from this website. The map shown here, should be centred on the location you searched for. The first step is to choose the format you want. You can click on these two tabs to select between PDF and PNG formats or CAD format. Let's start with the PDF format. The next step is to choose the scale you want. The larger the number, the more zoomed out it will look, so a 1 to 1250 scale plan will show a larger area than say a 1 to 200 scale plan. If you're applying for planning permission typically you'll need a site plan, sometimes called a block plan, like a 1 to 500 scale plan and a location plan like a 1 to 1250 scale plan. You can also select a larger paper size than A4 if you wish here. Step 2 is to position your plan so it's centred on the one you want. However, your property should be near the middle of the plan. To move it, simply click once, hold the mouse key down and drag it like so. If you're applying for a planning application, you may need to add red lines around the property where you're seeking planning permission and blue lines around any other separate property you own in the area that's also shown on the map. There are three different tools to do this. First, you can use the auto boundary tool offered here which will automatically outline the property you've selected from the address list. If this is not suitable, you can click on click to outline shapes button once. In most cases, you'll just need the red one. Next, move to the map, click within the boundary of the property you want to outline like this and repeat the process until all of the property is outlined. If you're having trouble using the automatic outlining then click the manual option here. Select the draw manually button, then click once in each corner like this and when you want to finish outlining simply complete the shape and click once. The last step is to check the title that will appear at the top of your plan. You can edit it here. Once you're happy with the plan click add to basket and you'll see your plan in your basket. If you require a CAD plan in DWG or DXF format you need to click on the second tab here and select the scale and paper size. Here's your basket with your plan shown. You can preview your map here and you can change the format if you wish here. We offer PDF and PNG formats in black and white or colour and black and white DWG or DXF format. A coloured PDF is fine for planning applications. However if you're applying for planning permission you may need to buy a location plan as well as a site plan. We've made it easy to order the other plan here, as you can simply click this button to add the other scale plan and we use the same red or blue lines you've used on the first plan. We also offer a 10% discount if you order more than one scale of the same plan. That's it, you're done. Click this button to pay and complete your order. Thanks for listening and ordering from BuyAPlan®.''
