CAD stands for "computer-aided design." CAD is a type of software that is used to create, modify, analyse, and optimise designs for a wide range of products, structures, and systems. CAD software allows designers and engineers to create detailed digital representations of their designs, which can then be used to visualise and test how the final project will look and function. This can help reduce errors, improve efficiency, and save time and money in the design process. It is widely used in the building environment by many professionals including architects, engineers, surveyors and many more.
Map data from the Ordnance Survey is not for sale; rather, it is licensed through a supplier such as BuyAPlan®. Any digital mapping purchased through BuyAPlan® includes a one-year license. Please contact us if you need your license extended.
